History:
Doug works at Salt River Project as the Macintosh Specialist of the Information Technology team. Doug started playing guitar at the age of 13. His first teacher was his father, Jim. In the beginning, Doug didn't take playing very seriously, as it was just a simple hobby (and a cool way to get chicks.)

At age 19 Doug started playing more seriously and eventually ended up playing in serveral bands including: Delusions of Bandhood, Foible and Bass Ackwards. The drummer for Bass Ackwards was Gordon Heckaman who is currently working as a drummer in DEPSWA who toured Ozzfest 2003 and had a record out by Geffon Records labled "Two Angels and a Dream."

In May 2002, Doug (and former drummer Steve Nienstedt) decided that something missing was from thier lives so they set out to form what is now No Rule Six.
