Mark informed us that he need to quit the band to take care of real
life. We are currently looking for a new vocalist. Oh. Sarah finally
showed me her belly button... or whats left of it. Poor girl.

October 8th, 2007.
No Rule Six has found our new front man, Mark Wright. Mark
is a consumate professional with a very strong, versital voice. Mark
spent a short time singing with national recording artist Tantric
and has sat in with many bands such as The Gin Blossoms. Look for
Mark to make big waves for us.
No Rule Six thanks Angie Lewis, of the Arizona Roller Derby league
team "The Brawlarinas" for joining us for a couple songs
at our last show. She really brought the house down.

Damnit Keopple... maybe I didn't WANT to write any news... but to
shut up your whiney ass.... here goes. Steve Keopple has decided
that with the new ruling of custody for his son recently that he
needs to focus on what is truely important in life; being a good
parent. Steve, we wish you the best of luck and congrats on your
engagement to the lovley Aimee... as long as you know she has loved
each one of us in the band for a lot longer than you. Aimee, congrats...
try to make the guy respectable. Best of luck to both of you.
Sarah has also decided to part ways with
the band since she needed to focus on her career. Sarah we will
miss your ever present smile and your uncanny ability to put up
with Jeff's crap. You still need to show us your belly button.
Anyone know of any singers? We aren't done
being a band yet.

Happy Veterans Day to anyone who made the personal sacrifice to
serve their country. We sincerely appreciate your service! No Rule
Six is now in a regular rotation at three bars. We would like to
get one or two more in different areas of town (like South Scottsdale/Tempe
and Ahwatukee.) We are working on it. For anyone who attended our
Annual Halloween Party here are some Pictures.
For anyone who didn't get an invite this year, you aren't alone.
Doug wasn't feeling up for the party and didn't send the E-mail
to anyone. What a loser. hehe.
There are also some issues with spam filters
knocking back our E-mails. I guess when you get upwards of 300 E-mail
recipients in one message servers tend to freak out. Doug will be
working on getting things straightened out.
Thanks for your support and for partying
with us. You guys are why we do this. Ok, that and the drinks you
buy us... and the money we are payed... and the release that playing
out gives us as an escape from our lives. Oh well. You guys are
a big part of why we do this. Thanks!

No Rule Six has been back at it again. We have added a lot of new
stuff including Black Sabbath (by popular demand) some dance music
and some other songs that we feel are just good fun songs. Sarah's
involvement with the band has increased up to doing 8-9 songs a
night. Doug is actively scouring the local music scene for more
gigs in a more varied setting. The goals of the band are to get
four or five bars in different areas of town that will rotate every
three or four months. We want to be playing out two or three times
a month (yes Keoppel, we are ignoring your whiney ass.) Things are
looking up and we are looking better than ever.

May 12th, 2006.
We are back! We will be beginning our "reunion" tour of
2006. Oh yeah! Steve Keoppel has rejoined the band and brought with
him Sarah who was recruited from the local Kareoke scene.

Haven't Updated the news in a while. Thought I'd just throw a quick
update in here. No Rule Six is doing very well with shows all over
town under out belt. the holidays were hectic but good. America
West Airlines bought most of the tickets available for the New Years
Show and have already asked us to play at a Pig Roast in June or
July. We keep adding new music and having a blast with everyone
who comes down and sees us. Party on evil kids!

Great News! Sugar Daddy's in Scottsdale has agreed to book us to
play Wednesday, December 29th. Sugar Daddy's is one of the premier
night clubs in Scottsdale. This place is packed seven days a week
with live music being performed nightly.
We are still actively contacting clubs all
over town to get a wider array of venues.
Keep checking the web site and sign up for our E-mail group. You
can do that through doug@norulesix.com.
September 3rd, 2004.
No Rule Six has actively been distributing our demo. Things are
looking very promising for many of the venues. Of course, we will
let you know what comes of those shows as soon as possible.
No Rule Six is booked to play at
the Amber Inn on September 11th. We have a special surprise for
those of you who show up. So come on out and see us.
August 12th, 2004.
I know it's been a while for a news update. Sorry about that. Life
has a way of making normally sane people not so sane. NR6 is doing
well. We are working on a bunch of new material and are really looking
forward to unleashing it on you guys.
We are also in the process of finding
a new studio to finish our demo. It turned out to be a huge debacle
with the now out of business Launchpad Audio. We finally got the
tapes and should be finishing them by the end of next month.
We had a bunch of great shows at
The Amber Inn, Cocomo Joes
and played a Grand Opening for a community center for Aids
Project Arizona.
Later!

Hey guys! We are all very excited about our last show. Nate did
a damned good job for his debut. We had a solid turnout and everyone
had a great time. Check out the pictures that are posted on the
site. (pictures tab to the left.) We are also scheduled to return
to the Amber Inn on June 19th.
We are trying desperately to get the
recording studio finish the mastering of the demo. Unfortunately,
Mark and Tim have decided to close thier doors in the next month or
so. They are trying to finish out their left over work but that means
that everything is fighting for time. We will get it finished.
We are in the process of adding songs and
polishing up the ones that we already know. We recently added This
Love by Maroon5, The Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin, Crazy Little
Thing Called Love - Queen, and Message in the Bottle by the Police.
They should be ready to go by the next show.
May 8th , 2004.
Happy mother's day to all of you who have earned that title! Without
moms, we would be.... well, we wouldn't be. NR6 recently went back
into the recording studio and finished laying down the vocal tracks.
All we are waiting on is for the engineer to get some time to bring
me (Doug) back in to do the final mix-down. Once that's done, I
will put the "Audio" page back up.
No Rule Six will
be debuting our new singer, Nate, on May 22nd at the Amber Inn.
The Amber Inn is at 4236 West Dunlap. It's on the North side of
Dunlap a little east of 43rd Avenue.
April 14th, 2004.
No Rule Six has found a new singer. Nate
Eyler is a 24 year old college student who comes from Maryland.
Nate has got a fantastic set of pipes on him. We are all confident
that we will be playing out within a month and a half.
No Rule Six will be going back into the
recording studio to finish the demo very soon. The completed songs
will be made available in the audio tab on the web site
March 20th, 2004: (edited)
No Rule Six is sorry to see our vocalist, Steve Keopple, leave
the band. Steve's personal obligations (and his need to pay his
bills) made Steve unable to maintain his position in NR6. There
are times in life when one must put priorities on things, and
too often, the need to survive outweighs the desires of a hobby.
Good Luck Steve! You are always welcome to come by for guest appearances
or whatever may come up.
Thanks to everyone who came out for our last show. It was a little
rough around the edges with all of the guest singers, but everyone
seemed to have a great time.
